Site drainage for the JSW Motors plant at Bidkin, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: U-drains, FT-Flumes, box culverts, drain lids and chambers.

The challenge

A large new plant, where the yard drainage, the crossings under plant roads and the access chambers all had to be in before the roads and buildings could follow.

The solution

Super Group supplied U-drains and lids for the yard and road edges, and FT-Flumes, the big ribbed and bolted flume, for the larger flows.

Box culverts take the drainage under the plant roads; precast chambers give access at the junctions.

All of it was cast in the factory and delivered in the order it was laid, so the drainage went in alongside the rest of the plant works.
